Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry

Teriyaki chicken

If you have been eating teriyaki chicken only at the restaurants, you probably wouldn’t have thought about making it at home. Making teriyaki chicken seems complex but it actually is very easy. This teriyaki chicken is pan fried and not deep fried which makes this recipe a very healthy choice.

It’s a tasty low calorie and high protein meal. You will enjoy the soft, tender, and juicy chicken pieces with the amazing flavor. I have used a store bought teriyaki sauce for this recipe for the convenience.

Protein value of this teriyaki chicken

This protein rich teriyaki chicken has around 33g of protein with just 256 calories per serve. Thanks to the very lean chicken breast. If you have higher protein need, you can scale the serve size up to about 1.5 times. That will give you 50g of protein with 384 calories.

Serving

Teriyaki chicken is best to serve with a bowl or rice. Feel free to add some mayonnaise on top, I like it that way.
