This quick and easy to make ground beef pasta is a perfect meal if you are short on time and need to eat a good quality protein. Make it an after-workout meal next time.
Ground beef is something I am absolutely obsessed with these days. I like how it doesn’t require any preparation. It’s literally premade meal (well, almost).
Protein and calories in this ground beef pasta
This is a healthy protein loaded meal that a whole family can enjoy. To keep the fat content lower, I have used 90% lean (or 10% fat) ground beef.
This meal has around 40g of protein with 550 calories. To control the carbs to protein ratio in each serve, I have mixed the pasta in the serving bowls instead of in the pan itself. Like, I need higher protein as I’m trying to build muscle, but my son needs it less and can go up on carbs.
Alternative
You can also replace pasta with brown rice. Which tastes equally good.
